Discipline Product Engineer (DPE) - Electrical Engineering

Responsibilities

• Manage the lifecycle, requirements, and roadmap for Electrical Engineering solutions with a focus on scale-up, reuse, and cross-product platform consistency.
• Oversee the lifecycle of Discipline Solutions and internal tools, ensuring version control, updates, and business continuity.
• Translate market and engineering needs into Product Requirement Specifications and drive the Electrical roadmap in coordination with Global Product Managers.
• Maintain and develop Electrical Engineering Solutions, including documentation, user guides, and technical references.
• Promote disruptive innovations and automation to streamline engineering processes and enhance competitiveness.
• Collaborate with cross-functional experts to modularize methods and develop replicable tools that scale across projects.
• Monitor Electrical Engineering performance in tenders and projects to identify systemic patterns for improvement.
• Align with other disciplines to ensure cross-product compatibility and govern deviations.
• Provide technical guidance in tenders and projects to ensure consistent application of base solutions across global teams.
• Collaborate with product management to establish and sustain the product lifecycle management (PLM) system.

Requirements

• BE / M.Sc. in Electrical Engineering or equivalent experience.
• 10+ years of experience in Electrical Engineering, modularization, or engineering products.
• Experience with design tools such as E3 Zuken or similar.
• Experience with PDM systems such as Siemens Teamcenter or similar.
• Proficiency in both spoken and written English.
• Strong communication, collaboration, and leadership abilities.
• Experience working with diverse and cross-functional teams.

• Proven experience in product management.
• Strategic, operational, and solution-oriented mindset with a focus on business productivity and efficiency.
