About the role
Responsibilities
- Manage the processing of discharge permits and administrative files
- Perform in-situ sampling of wastewater and interpret laboratory analysis
- Install and maintain measurement equipment such as flow meters and quality sensors
- Interpret local regulations and Maximum Permissible Limits (MPL) for pollutants
- Analyze industrial processes to anticipate potential contaminants and treatment needs
- Use GIS and office tools for document management and discharge point location
- Design and calculate measurement networks for in-situ installation
- Draft technical-legal reports to justify authorizations or sanctions
Requirements
- University degree in Environmental Sciences, Chemical Engineering, or Chemistry
- 2 to 4 years of experience in discharge permit processing
- Experience in laboratory or field sampling and equipment programming
- Knowledge of Spanish Administrative Procedure Law (Ley 39/2015)
- Valid B driving license for field inspections
- Proficiency in Google Workspace and Microsoft Office (Excel, Word)
- Specialized training in wastewater treatment or water cycle management
