Disassembly/Assembly Technician

Responsibilities

• Perform complex production assembly, disassembly, and repair of aircraft components, structural assemblies, and mechanical systems.
• Follow approved assembly procedures using FAA-approved internal procedures, OEM technical data, and work package instructions.
• Utilize knowledge of aircraft mechanical component troubleshooting and replacement procedures.
• Execute complex structural work including fastener removals, riveting, sleeve bolt drilling, and system, wire, and tube installations.
• Read and interpret engineering drawings, technical orders, process specifications, and wiring schematics.
• Operate specialized aircraft tools such as torque wrenches, micrometers, dial indicators, and sheet metal tools.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment in accordance with operational standards.

Requirements

• 1+ years of experience in aircraft assembly or disassembly.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, wiring schematics, and technical manuals.
• Proficiency with precision tools including torque wrenches, micrometers, and sheet metal equipment.
• Knowledge of aircraft mechanical component troubleshooting and structural modification.
• Must be a U.S. Citizen or Permanent Resident.
