Disability Support Worker

Responsibilities

• Provide high-care, person-centred support to clients in a Supported Independent Living (SIL) setting
• Assist with personal care, hygiene, and daily routines with dignity and respect
• Safely use hoists and other mobility equipment for manual handling
• Adhere to Behavior Intervention Strategies (BIS) and care plans, including restrictive practices as directed
• Support clients with capacity building, domestic duties, and community participation
• Maintain thorough documentation and report writing using IT systems

Requirements

• P2 NSW Driver's License or higher
• Regular access to your own vehicle
• Full working rights in Australia
• NDIS Worker Screening Check Clearance
• Working with Children Check
• Strong IT and report writing skills
• Ability to work a stable fortnightly rotating roster
