Disability Support Worker

Responsibilities

• Provide tailored, person-centred support to clients with physical disabilities in a Supported Independent Living (SIL) setting
• Assist clients with daily routines, including hygiene, domestic duties, and community participation
• Use hoists and other specialized equipment to support clients with high physical needs
• Adhere to Behavior Intervention Strategies (BIS), care plans, and restrictive practices as directed by clinical teams
• Support capacity building to help clients develop skills such as using public transport and managing safe relationships
• Maintain accurate digital records and complete required report writing

Requirements

• P2 NSW Driver's License or higher
• Regular access to your own vehicle
• NDIS Worker Screening Check Clearance
• Working with Children Check
• Experience using hoists and physical support equipment
• Competent IT and computer skills
• Ability to commit to a permanent part-time, two-week rotating roster
