Disability Support Worker

Responsibilities

• Provide person-centered support that empowers clients to express choice and independence in their daily lives
• Assist clients with daily living needs in their homes and the community, including personal care, meal assistance, and medication support
• Implement behaviour support strategies
• Work both independently and collaboratively within a team to support client goals

Requirements

• Availability for a variety of shifts, including sleepovers and early mornings (essential)
• Experience supporting clients with Acquired Brain Injury (ABI) and/or Behaviours of Concern (BOC) is highly desirable
• Valid NDIS Worker Screening Check
• Working with Children Check
• Current First Aid and CPR certification
