Disability Support Worker

Responsibilities

• Support customers to achieve their daily goals and build independence through a person-centred approach
• Provide confident, proactive, and safe support to a diverse range of customers, including those living with disability, epilepsy, and behaviours of concern (BOC)
• Work collaboratively with a team of specialists both on and off-site to create meaningful opportunities for customers to belong and thrive
• Adhere to the established roster, which includes specific fortnightly hours (FN1: 28.25 hours | FN2: 25.25 hours)

Requirements

• Full Victorian driver’s licence (essential)
• NDIS Worker Screening Check Clearance
• Working with Children's Check (Employee)
• Current Level 2 First Aid & CPR Certificate
• Valid Australian Working Rights
• Ability to work all shifts as outlined in the roster

Preferred Qualifications

• Certificate IV in Disability or an equivalent qualification
