Disability Support Worker

Responsibilities

• Support adults with intellectual or physical disabilities attending our Day Programs
• Engage clients in individual or group programs based on their hobbies and interests
• Provide respectful personal care when required
• Build client capacity to maintain independence and encourage community participation
• Promote choice and control using person-centred active support
• Follow behavioural support plans and NDIS care plans
• Act as a positive role model and create meaningful, interest-driven experiences

Requirements

• Regular access to your own car
• P2 NSW Driver’s License or higher
• Full work rights in Australia
• Availability to work at least 2-3 shifts per week
• NDIS Worker Screening Check Clearance
• Working with Children Check
