Disability Support Worker (Lifestyles)

Responsibilities

• Deliver person-centred support to clients with complex medical and behavioural needs
• Facilitate inclusive community activities to promote social engagement and integration
• Assist with personal care, including toileting, showering, mobility, and manual handling
• Follow behaviour support strategies aligned with individual care plans
• Transport clients to appointments and activities using a company van
• Empower clients to find their strengths and promote independence
• Adapt to changing routines and support needs in dynamic environments

Requirements

• Unrestricted New South Wales driver’s licence and access to a reliable vehicle
• Current First Aid Certificate (HLTAID003 or HLTAID011)
• Demonstrated ability to use basic technology and software on mobile and desktop devices
• Ability to clear all state-based probity checks, including NDIS Worker Screening Check and Working with Children Check
