Disability Support Worker

Responsibilities

• Support a young male client 1:1 with daily living tasks and domestic assistance
• Prompt and encourage community engagement, including activities like gym and bush walking
• Promote client choice, independence, and person-centred support in all interactions
• Adapt support strategies to meet the individual's evolving needs and preferences
• Maintain availability for required sleepover shifts within a 24/7 roster

Requirements

• Unrestricted New South Wales driver’s licence and access to a reliable vehicle
• Current First Aid Certificate (including HLTAID003 or HLTAID011)
• NDIS Worker Screening Check and National Criminal History Record Check
• Demonstrated ability to use basic technology and software on mobile and desktop devices
• Ability to work casual shifts, including sleepovers
