Disability Support Worker

Responsibilities

• Provide person-centred active support and daily living assistance to people living with disability
• Support clients with complex needs, including physical and verbal behaviours of concern
• Follow established behaviour management and meal time management plans
• Perform full personal care tasks, including bathing, dressing, and grooming
• Integrate digital tools like iPads into daily routines to enhance communication and recreation
• Encourage and facilitate community participation through 1-on-1 support

Requirements

• Unrestricted NSW driver's licence and access to a reliable vehicle
• Ability to drive a large van for client transportation
• Current First Aid Certificate (HLTAID003 or HLTAID011)
• NDIS Worker Screening Check and National Criminal History Record Check
• Basic technology proficiency with mobile and desktop software
