Disability Support Worker

Responsibilities

• Follow person-centred support plans and behaviour support plans respectfully
• Participate in community activities and encourage clients to perform daily living tasks
• Track and document an individual’s progress through thorough record-keeping
• Build and maintain positive relationships with clients and their families
• Commit to a 24/7 roster, including sleepover shifts and weekends

Requirements

• Experience with Positive Behaviour Support Plans and managing challenging behaviours
• Current First Aid and CPR Certificates
• Unrestricted Australian Driver's Licence and own reliable, registered, and insured vehicle
• NDIS Worker Screening Check and National Criminal History Record Check
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills
