Disability Support Worker

Responsibilities

• Provide person-centred active support and daily living assistance to people living with disability
• Perform manual handling tasks including wheelchair support, lifting, transferring, and repositioning
• Assist with community access, such as lunch outings and social events
• Support clients with domestic assistance and personal care
• Encourage family and community connections while promoting client choice and independence

Requirements

• Unrestricted NSW driver’s licence and access to a reliable vehicle
• Current First Aid Certificate (HLTAID003 or HLTAID011)
• Ability to use basic technology and software on mobile and desktop devices
• Ability to clear a National Criminal History Record Check and NDIS Worker Screening Check
• Availability to work the specific rostered shifts provided in the job description
