Disability Support Worker

Responsibilities

• Follow person-centred support and behaviour plans
• Facilitate client goal achievement through meaningful activities
• Maintain thorough record keeping
• Build positive relationships with clients, families, and colleagues
• Advocate for client choice and control
• Drive a large van to transport clients safely

Requirements

• Experience working with people with disability or mental health conditions
• Previous experience working with behaviour support plans
• Confidence in manual handling
• Unrestricted Australian driver’s licence with confidence driving a large van
• Current First Aid and CPR Certificate
• Ability to clear an NDIS Worker Screening Check and National Criminal History Record Check
