Disability Support Worker

Responsibilities

• Follow person-centred support and behaviour plans
• Facilitate client goal achievement through meaningful activities
• Maintain thorough record keeping
• Build positive relationships with clients, families and colleagues
• Advocate for client choice and control
• Provide personal care and daily living support in SIL and Lifestyle settings

Requirements

• Passion for working with people with disability
• Ability to work with challenging behaviours
• Unrestricted Australian driver’s licence
• Current First Aid and CPR Certificate
• Ability to clear National Criminal History Record Check and NDIS Clearance
