Disability Support Worker

Responsibilities

• Provide person-centred active support to people living with disability in supported independent living settings
• Assist with daily living tasks, including personal care and domestic assistance
• Follow and adapt to individual behaviour support plans
• Promote client choice, independence, and control in all interactions
• Maintain a positive attitude and build genuine rapport with clients
• Remain flexible and respond calmly to changing situations

Requirements

• Unrestricted New South Wales driver’s licence and access to a reliable vehicle
• Current First Aid Certificate (HLTAID003 or HLTAID011)
• Ability to use basic technology and software on mobile and desktop devices
• NDIS Worker Screening Check
• National Criminal History Check
