Disability Support Worker

Responsibilities

• Provide person-centred active support to people living with disabilities in Orange
• Assist clients with daily personal care, including bathing, shaving, and toileting
• Provide mobility assistance through lifting, transferring, and hoisting clients
• Follow person-centred active support plans and behaviour support plans respectfully
• Track and document changing client needs through thorough record-keeping
• Build and maintain positive relationships with clients, their families, and the team
• Advocate for client choice and control in a safe and compliant manner

Requirements

• Unrestricted NSW driver’s licence and access to a reliable vehicle
• Current First Aid Certificate (HLTAID003 or HLTAID011)
• NDIS Worker Screening Check
• National Criminal History Record Check
• Ability to work flexible hours, including a 24/7 roster for SIL or split shifts for Lifestyle supports
• Demonstrated ability to use basic technology and software on mobile and desktop devices
