Disability Support Worker

Responsibilities

• Provide assistance with daily living, including personal care and household duties
• Support community access and provide transport for clients
• Maintain and monitor person-centred plans to ensure individual needs are met
• Document progress notes and complete mandatory reporting and administrative duties
• Assist individuals in engaging in cultural activities and maintaining cultural connections
• Maintain a high level of integrity and respect for professional boundaries and confidentiality

Requirements

• Experience in managing challenging and complex behaviours
• Unrestricted Australian Driver's Licence
• Current Provide First Aid (HLTAID011) and Provide CPR (HLTAID009) certificates
• Assist Clients with Medication Skill Set
• NDIS Worker Screening Clearance
• Tasmanian Working with Vulnerable People Registration
