Disability Support Leader

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate high-volume 24/7 service operations for up to three Supported Independent Living (SIL) homes
• Provide proactive leadership, coaching, and mentoring to a team of Disability Support Workers
• Manage unexpected leave coverage to ensure continuity of support services
• Effectively manage crisis situations and complex behavioural incidents
• Act as a key liaison with families to navigate complex care dynamics
• Ensure compliance through mandatory reporting, risk management, and resource optimisation
• Participate in an on-call component once every 8 weeks

Requirements

• Previous leadership experience delivering services for people with complex care needs and high behaviours
• Established influencing and negotiation skills
• Diploma in Social & Community Services or equivalent relevant experience
• Current unrestricted Australian Driver's Licence and access to a reliable vehicle
• Ability to clear probity checks, including National Criminal History and Working with Children Checks
