Disability Support Leader

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of Disability Support Workers and provide advice and supervision to achieve positive outcomes
• Supervise client service delivery for the Community Participation Program and Supported Independent Living services
• Ensure staff are skilled, knowledgeable, and providing safe, compliant, and person-centred support
• Manage service operations, including budgets, compliance, and staff ratios
• Monitor, manage, and report on incidents and complaints
• Collaborate with key business partners to ensure consistent service delivery
• Assist individuals in engaging in cultural activities and maintaining community connections
• Participate in an on-call roster

Requirements

• Leadership experience within the disability sector
• Diploma in Social & Community Services or equivalent relevant experience
• Unrestricted Australian Driver's Licence
• Strong influencing and negotiation skills
• Ability to maintain professional boundaries and handle sensitive/cultural information
• Ability to clear NDIS Worker Screening and National Criminal History checks
