Disability Support Leader

Responsibilities

• Provide coaching and mentoring to a team of Disability Support Workers to drive professional development and practice excellence
• Oversee the daily operations of Supported Independent Living (SIL) homes for clients in the Dubbo area
• Lead and coordinate high-volume service operations and manage staff rosters to ensure adequate coverage
• Manage crisis situations and complex behavioural incidents using positive behaviour support and restrictive practice knowledge
• Ensure compliance with mandatory reporting, risk management, and incident notification requirements
• Foster collaborative partnerships with families and stakeholders to ensure high-quality service delivery

Requirements

• Previous leadership experience within the disability or mental health sectors
• Diploma in Social & Community Services or equivalent relevant experience
• Current unrestricted Australian Driver's Licence and access to a reliable vehicle
• Ability to clear probity checks, including a National Criminal History Record Check and NDIS Workers Check clearance
• Strong influencing, negotiation, and creative problem-solving skills
