Disability Development & Support Officer

Responsibilities

• Follow person-centred support and behaviour plans
• Facilitate client goal achievement through meaningful activities
• Maintain thorough record keeping
• Build positive relationships with clients, families, and colleagues
• Advocate for client choice and control

Requirements

• Experience with high physical supports and manual handling
• Confidence and experience in providing personal care
• Cert IV in Disability or similar qualification
• Current Senior First Aid (level 2) Certificate
• Current unrestricted Driver Licence
• Willingness and confidence to drive a wheelchair van
• Ability to clear probity checks, including National and International Criminal History Record Checks
