Disability Development & Support Officer

Responsibilities

• Provide active, person-centred support to people with disability in Malvern East
• Follow individual support and behaviour plans to facilitate client goal achievement
• Deliver High Intensity Daily Personal Activities (HIDPA) support
• Maintain thorough and accurate record keeping
• Build positive, respectful relationships with clients, families, and colleagues
• Advocate for client choice, control, and independence

Requirements

• Experience with High Intensity Daily Personal Activities (HIDPA)
• Cert IV in Disability or a similar relevant qualification
• Current Senior First Aid (Level 2) Certificate
• Unrestricted Driver Licence and willingness to drive a company van
• Experience in manual handling and providing personal care
• Ability to commit to a permanent part-time roster, including sleepover shifts
