Disability Development & Support Officer

Responsibilities

• Follow person-centred support and behaviour plans
• Facilitate client goal achievement through meaningful activities
• Maintain thorough record keeping
• Build positive relationships with clients, families, and colleagues
• Advocate for client choice and control
• Provide active support to four males living in a Supporting Independent Living home

Requirements

• Experience and confidence working with behaviours of concern
• Current First Aid certificate
• Current CPR certificate
• Unrestricted Driver Licence and willingness to drive a company van
• Ability to work a set permanent part-time roster, including sleepover shifts

Preferred Qualifications

• Relevant Certificate IV qualification
