About the role
Responsibilities
- Perform advanced professional and consultative social work duties for the Disability Access Point (DAP)
- Ensure high-quality navigation services and contract compliance across subcontracted providers
- Provide technical guidance to subcontractor navigators regarding complex client-level situations and service expectations
- Deliver training, coaching, and ongoing support to subcontractor staff to strengthen assessment and service planning skills
- Review and analyze subcontractor reports and data to identify performance trends and areas for improvement
- Serve as a liaison between the DAP program and community organizations, provider agencies, and other partners
- Interpret and communicate policies, procedures, and statewide standards to ensure consistent service delivery
- Maintain accurate documentation related to subcontractor performance and program operations
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Human Services, Social Work, Psychology, Sociology, or a related field
- 4 years of experience working with individuals with mental health, brain injuries, or intellectual/developmental disabilities
- 2 years of progressive leadership experience
- Valid State of Iowa driver's license
- Thorough knowledge of HIPAA regulations and confidentiality standards
- Ability to pass a criminal background check and drug screen
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in program planning, quality assurance, and continuous improvement
- Strong data analysis skills to identify performance gaps and support decision-making
- Ability to effectively interact with non-English speaking clients
