About the role

Responsibilities

  • Perform advanced professional and consultative social work duties for the Disability Access Point (DAP)
  • Ensure high-quality navigation services and contract compliance across subcontracted providers
  • Provide technical guidance to subcontractor navigators regarding complex client-level situations and service expectations
  • Deliver training, coaching, and ongoing support to subcontractor staff to strengthen assessment and service planning skills
  • Review and analyze subcontractor reports and data to identify performance trends and areas for improvement
  • Serve as a liaison between the DAP program and community organizations, provider agencies, and other partners
  • Interpret and communicate policies, procedures, and statewide standards to ensure consistent service delivery
  • Maintain accurate documentation related to subcontractor performance and program operations

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Human Services, Social Work, Psychology, Sociology, or a related field
  • 4 years of experience working with individuals with mental health, brain injuries, or intellectual/developmental disabilities
  • 2 years of progressive leadership experience
  • Valid State of Iowa driver's license
  • Thorough knowledge of HIPAA regulations and confidentiality standards
  • Ability to pass a criminal background check and drug screen

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in program planning, quality assurance, and continuous improvement
  • Strong data analysis skills to identify performance gaps and support decision-making
  • Ability to effectively interact with non-English speaking clients
