Superluminal Medicines is a generative biology and chemistry company revolutionizing the speed and accuracy of how small molecule medicines are created. The Company’s platform aims to create candidate-ready compounds with unprecedented speed using a combination of deep biology, computational and medicinal chemistry, machine learning, and proprietary big data infrastructure.
Responsibilities
- Partner with executive leadership to forecast headcount and design scalable team structures
- Own end-to-end recruiting strategy and manage external recruiting consultants
- Advise leadership on organizational structuring, reporting lines, and workflows
- Ensure employment law compliance across multiple states
- Establish robust HR processes and governance frameworks
- Optimize HRIS (Paylocity) in collaboration with Finance
- Manage performance management processes, including goal setting and feedback loops
- Implement leveling and compensation strategies
- Manage comprehensive benefits programs and company equity plans
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in HR, Business, Organizational Development, or related field
- 8+ years of HR experience
- Minimum 3 years leading HR functions within a biotech company
- Experience advising senior leaders on workforce planning and organizational design
- Experience applying federal and state employment laws across multiple jurisdictions
- Experience designing compensation strategies and market benchmarking
- Experience utilizing and optimizing HRIS platforms
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in both early-stage private startups and publicly traded biotech companies
- Experience with workforce scaling and change management
- Experience with Paylocity HRIS
- Experience using Radford (Aon) market data
- Professional HR certification (SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, PHR, SPHR)
