Director, Wealth Data Governance

Responsibilities

• Define and execute the Wealth Data Governance strategy aligned with enterprise objectives and regulatory expectations
• Lead the evolution of governance scope to include emerging domains such as analytics, data usage, and AI management
• Oversee data risk management practices in alignment with the Enterprise Risk Framework
• Establish and maintain Wealth-specific data governance frameworks, standards, and processes
• Define and oversee data quality management and control practices to ensure data is fit for purpose
• Partner with senior business leaders to embed data management practices across the Wealth organization
• Build and lead a high-performing team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and innovation

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience in financial services, data governance, data management, or risk management
• Demonstrated experience implementing enterprise data governance and data risk frameworks
• Post-secondary education or equivalent professional experience
• Deep knowledge of metadata management, data lineage, and data quality management
• Proficiency with data management tools such as Informatica, Alation, or Manta
• Strong expertise in strategy, risk management, and stakeholder influence
