About the role
Responsibilities
- Direct communication with clients for marketplace intelligence, negotiation, and partnership needs
- Maintain and grow relationships with client-level contacts
- Collaborate with Strategy, Analytics, and Client Advice teams to ensure alignment with client KPIs
- Oversee partnership plan development, recommendation, and implementation
- Manage execution of media negotiations for National TV linear and alternative video (cinema, place-based)
- Develop go-to-market strategies, recommendations, and POVs
- Support Initiative and IPG MB new business and revenue initiatives
Requirements
- National broadcast media buying experience
- Strong technical and negotiating skills
- Understanding of marketing, advertising, and media concepts
- Proficiency in media data sources and research tools
- Strong analytical and quantitative skills
- Technical proficiency in MS Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
Preferred Qualifications
- 8+ years of buying network, cable, and syndication
- 4+ years of successful staff management
- Experience within a major media company
- Demonstrated critical thinking and problem-solving abilities
