Director, Value Chain Product Leader, Global Supply Chain

Responsibilities

• Design, operate, and continuously improve an end-to-end value chain that connects patients to medicines within a global biotechnology framework.
• Lead the Product functional Value Stream Team (VST) and represent Supply Chain on TOPS Product Teams (TPTs) for assets in development.
• Drive product lifecycle management roadmaps, optimizing lead time, cost, and resilience across clinical and commercial stages.
• Proactively identify, assess, and mitigate risks impacting product quality, compliance, and patient supply.
• Manage inventory health, supply chain cost drivers, and business continuity plans.
• Serve as the primary voice of the product in business forums, including brand and portfolio governance reviews.
• Provide coaching and development to cross-functional matrixed teams.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in life sciences, engineering, supply chain, or business administration.
• 8–12+ years of experience in materials management, production planning, or scheduling.
• 5–10+ years of experience in GMP/GCP compliant pharmaceutical operations.
• 2–5+ years of experience leading global, cross-functional, matrixed teams.
• Strong expertise in supply chain management and pharmaceutical regulatory frameworks (GMP, ICH).
• Proficiency with ERP systems (Oracle or SAP preferred).
• Demonstrated ability in risk management, project management, and executive-level communication.
• Willingness to travel internationally as required.

Preferred Qualifications

• MBA in Supply Chain, Finance, or Business Operations.
• APICS or equivalent supply chain certification.
• Lean / DMAIC certification (Green Belt or higher).
• PMP or equivalent project management certification.
• Extensive biopharmaceutical operations experience.
• Advanced regulatory and GMP expertise, including ICH Q8–Q12.
