About the role

Responsibilities

  • Lead the administration of the university’s student conduct system, ensuring fair, consistent, and educationally grounded processes.
  • Develop, implement, and maintain conduct policies and procedures aligned with federal regulations and institutional values.
  • Oversee conduct case management, including investigations, adjudication, sanctioning, and appeals.
  • Serve as the university’s Title IX Coordinator, ensuring full compliance with Title IX, VAWA, and related laws.
  • Oversee the intake, assessment, investigation, and resolution of Title IX reports involving students, faculty, and staff.
  • Train and supervise Deputy Coordinators, investigators, hearing panel members, and advisors.
  • Maintain accurate records and reporting through Maxient and ensure compliance with documentation standards.
  • Collaborate with campus stakeholders to support student well-being and integrate compliance into the broader student experience.

Requirements

  • Master’s degree and a minimum of three years of progressively responsible experience in Title IX, student conduct, or related higher education administration (or an equivalent combination of education and experience).
  • Demonstrated knowledge of Title IX, VAWA, and related legal and regulatory frameworks.
  • Experience managing investigations, adjudication processes, or compliance programs.
  • Proficiency with systems such as Maxient, Colleague, or similar platforms.
  • Strong interpersonal, conflict resolution, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a complex organizational environment.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master’s degree in Student Affairs, Higher Education, or a related field.
  • Formal training or certification in Title IX administration.
  • Experience with assessment, data-informed decision-making, and strategic planning.
