Director, Technology Risk and Governance

Responsibilities

• Lead the OneSOX Programme delivery and roadmap, ensuring control framework enhancements and SOX maturity objectives are met.
• Oversee the annual D&T SOX scoping process, evaluating IT systems and processes for compliance and risk implications.
• Manage end-to-end D&T SOX testing, including vendor management, test planning, execution oversight, and deficiency assessment.
• Report SOX management testing conclusions and deficiency trends to the Audit & Risk Committee through formal Board papers.
• Partner with D&T leadership to monitor IT risks relevant to the Finance control environment.
• Provide strategic leadership for transformation projects, conducting control impact assessments to align change with governance objectives.
• Establish and govern protocols for Robotic Process Automation (RPA) within Finance.
• Design and oversee the data analytics strategy to enhance data-driven risk assessment and decision-making.

Requirements

• 10+ years of enterprise-level experience, ideally within a FTSE 100 Consumer Health organization.
• Proven leadership experience managing SOX testing teams and external audit relationships.
• Demonstrated expertise in leading IT governance transformation and managing complex IT processes.
• Strong project management and business partnering experience.
• Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent professional experience).
• Exceptional communication skills for developing enterprise-wide reports and documentation for senior leadership.

Preferred Qualifications

• High level of emotional intelligence with the ability to provoke, support, and challenge senior leaders.
• Experience with Accelerated Delivery Programs (ADP).
