Director, Technical Program Management

Responsibilities

• Lead technical programs that deliver critical business goals and build large-scale products and platforms within the Global Payment Network (GPN) technology organization.
• Drive architectural alignment, technical strategy, and execution of organizational objectives and key results.
• Manage complex technical dependencies and cross-functional engineering roadmaps to improve scalability and system resilience.
• Grow and develop a team of Technical Program Managers (TPMs) while building the foundations for the TPM practice.
• Proactively identify and mitigate technical risks throughout the delivery life-cycle.
• Simplify technically complex concepts to drive well-educated decisions across product, engineering, design, and data science teams.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree.
• At least 7 years of experience managing technical programs.
• Experience with distributed computing and building data-intensive solutions.
• Experience with cloud computing and architecture, preferably using AWS.
• Experience with Agile delivery methodologies.

Preferred Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience building distributed systems and highly available services.
• 3+ years of experience building highly scalable mobile products and platforms.
• 3+ years of experience delivering large, complex programs with cross-functional ownership.
• Experience building systems and solutions within a highly regulated environment.
• Master's Degree or MBA in a related technical field (Computer Science, Software Engineering).
