Director, Technical Center

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic leadership and direction for the Jiaxing technical center to ensure alignment with long-term company goals.
• Manage resource allocation to support plant troubleshooting, formulation and processing issues, cost leadership programs, and new product introductions.
• Lead supply move and resourcing projects and oversee Asia region Design to Value (DTV) programs.
• Drive China Rx (Drug) strategy, including API ingredient qualification, technical assessment, and formulation development through to commercial production.
• Partner with commercial teams to build business cases and transform innovation concepts into New Product Development (NPD) projects.
• Engage with external Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs), healthcare professionals, and academic institutions to explore new innovation opportunities.

Requirements

• Minimum of a Master's degree; a PhD is highly preferred.
• At least 10 years of relevant experience in the food, nutrition, or pharmaceutical industries.
• Proven expertise in new product development (NPD) and manufacturing science and technology.
• Strong people management skills with the ability to make difficult decisions and influence stakeholders.
• Fluency in English and excellent professional presentation skills.
• Hands-on experience in building business cases and driving project management initiatives.

Preferred Qualifications

• Deep understanding of the China adult products market and main product portfolios.
• Experience with global formulation systems or PLM programs.
• Demonstrated ability to establish collaborative internal and external professional relationships.
