About the role
Responsibilities
- Drive the design, implementation, and continuous improvement of Airwallex’s performance management framework to ensure high performance and accountability.
- Build and execute a global learning and talent development strategy covering onboarding, leadership development, and digital learning.
- Serve as a strategic thought partner to People & Talent and business leaders regarding performance, talent, and organizational health.
- Use data and analytics to identify development needs, measure program effectiveness, and inform decision-making.
- Employ design thinking and user empathy to ensure learning interventions are practical, relevant, and actionable.
- Lead and coach a team of talent development professionals, fostering a culture of innovation and ownership.
- Partner with cross-functional teams to align talent initiatives with business goals across the employee lifecycle.
Requirements
- 10+ years of experience in talent development, learning & development, or a related field.
- Proven track record of success in high-growth or fast-paced environments.
- Demonstrated proficiency in data modeling, surveying, and analyzing information to drive decisions.
- Experience designing, facilitating, and scaling learning programs with high participant satisfaction.
- Strong stakeholder management and executive influencing skills.
- Structured, first-principles thinker with excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience within the fintech or technology sector.
- Experience with digital learning platforms and various modalities such as micro-learning and mobile.
- Experience leading and developing a team of talent development professionals.
- Familiarity with tools such as Jira, Excel, PowerPoint, and learning management systems (LMS).
- Advanced degree in HR, Business, Organizational Psychology, or a related field.
