Director, Supply Chain

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop the site's supply chain teams to ensure efficient product supply and meet customer expectations.
• Serve as a key member of the Site Leadership Team to steer site culture and participate in global plant management.
• Monitor supply and inventory levels while driving improvements in KPIs such as Back Orders, Lost Sales, Working Capital, and Planning Adherence.
• Partner with Global Strategic Sourcing, Global External Supply, and other business units to ensure seamless communication and requirement fulfillment.
• Mentor team members, establish a world-class material management organization, and create clear succession plans.
• Coordinate the supply and operations planning process in collaboration with principal representatives.
• Develop budgets and operational standards for the department to ensure processes deliver budgeted results.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree required.
• 7-10+ years of supervisory or management experience.
• Demonstrated knowledge of supply chain, business, and leadership principles.
• Strong knowledge of cGMP and quality standards.
• Experience with ERP tools, preferably S4 Hana and IBP.
• Experience in Supply Chain, Logistics, Operations, Engineering, or Continuous Improvement.

Preferred Qualifications

• CPIM APICS certification.
• Six Sigma Green or Black Belt.
• Knowledge of advanced operations management and continuous improvement approaches (Lean, TOC, TPM).
• Knowledge of pharmaceutical packaging technology, materials, and organization.
• Experience in Planning, Buying, Scheduling, Capacity Planning, Trade Compliance, or Project Management.
