Director Supply Chain - Manufacturing

Responsibilities

• Assume ownership and accountability of Supply Chain teams, processes, and performance, including strategic planning and tactical operations.
• Develop and execute supplier management strategies across direct and indirect spend to ensure on-time delivery and cost efficiency.
• Mature and support the SIOP process to improve strategic planning of working capital and factory resource utilization.
• Improve financial performance by managing P&L costs and developing plans to reduce purchased material and services costs.
• Establish long-term strategic supplier partnerships to drive innovation and production efficiencies.
• Implement performance management and savings pipelines while building a high-performing team.
• Utilize analytic methods to identify causal relationships in supply chain performance and provide actionable insights.
• Ensure all Environmental, Health, and Safety standards are followed throughout the Supply Chain teams.
• Develop successors and manage a robust talent pipeline through proactive career pathing.

Requirements

• 10 or more years of Supply Chain or Operations experience.
• 6 or more years of People Leader experience in Supply Chain or Operations.
• Strong understanding of contract terms and conditions, FAR, and DFARS.
• U.S. Citizenship is required due to contractual requirements.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government security clearance.
• Ability to travel approximately 10-20%.

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree (Master’s Degree preferred).
• Experience in large-scale manufacturing, Aerospace & Defense, or Medical Devices.
• Experience with ERP/MRP systems.
• Demonstrated ability to achieve results through influence, negotiation, and change management.
• Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint at an intermediate level.
