About the role
Responsibilities
- Lead strategic execution of the supply chain function for the Maritime Power Systems Division across multiple US sites.
- Develop and drive the strategy, vision, and performance of all supply chain functions to ensure superior cost and schedule performance.
- Collaborate with functional organizations to identify strategic suppliers and subcontractors to meet performance needs.
- Manage procurement processes and systems, ensuring alignment with Government, Corporate, and Division policies.
- Lead the development of a world-class team of Supply Chain Program Managers through staffing, training, and talent management.
- Execute "Return to Green" initiatives and manage risk management strategies for critical procurement efforts.
- Support strategic new business pursuit activities as a subject matter expert for purchased and subcontracted systems.
Requirements
- US Citizenship required.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret Security Clearance.
- Bachelor’s Degree with a minimum of 15 years of prior related experience (or equivalent experience as specified).
- Extensive experience in supply chain management within the Aerospace and Defense industry.
- Proven experience leading high-performing teams and managing cross-departmental projects.
- Solid knowledge of defense supply chain, purchasing processes, and FAR/DFARS contractual terms and conditions.
- Advanced computer skills with a strong understanding of ERP and MRP systems.
- Ability to travel periodically (up to 30%).
Preferred Qualifications
- Master’s degree or MBA in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Engineering, or a related discipline.
- Experience with Earned Value Management (EVM) or previous experience as a Control Account Manager (CAM).
- Strong analytical, organizational, and interpersonal communication skills.
