About the role
Responsibilities
- Create and implement global supply chain strategies synchronized with business segment material strategies and metrics.
- Optimize inventory turnover while mitigating exposure and reducing risk for both Flex and its customers.
- Drive strategic procurement initiatives to maximize cost reduction and report on project status.
- Consolidate input from commodity managers and site materials management for consolidated program sourcing documents.
- Support Design Services Procurement Manager (DSPM) activities for new programs and provide forward price projections.
- Manage purchasing activities associated with New Product Introduction (NPI) efforts, including supplier development and source awards.
- Direct customer quotation requirements and support the sales cycle through interaction with Business Development teams.
- Ensure the highest ethical standards of integrity and professionalism are maintained throughout the procurement process.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in a related field or equivalent experience and training.
- Minimum of 8 years of management experience.
- Proficiency in office software, including word processing, spreadsheets, and presentation packages.
- Advanced skills in reading, analyzing, and interpreting complex documents.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to deliver persuasive presentations to top management and boards of directors.

- Master's degree or MBA.
