About the role
Responsibilities
- Lead US supply chain operations including sourcing, procurement, logistics, and inventory control across all manufacturing facilities.
- Manage inbound material planning to ensure adequate stock levels and uninterrupted production.
- Guide and coach supply chain, procurement, and logistics teams spread across US operations.
- Implement dual-sourcing strategies to mitigate logistical and supply-side risks.
- Develop and execute a durable supply chain roadmap aligned with manufacturing needs and company expansion.
- Manage supplier relationships, performance scorecards, and capacity planning.
- Oversee raw-material and subcontract-vendor sourcing in compliance with IATF automotive quality standards.
- Optimize ERP/MRP systems and implement advanced tracking or EDI tools for real-time visibility.
- Manage supply chain CapEx and OpEx budgets, driving total-cost-down initiatives.
- Lead the monthly Sales and Operations Planning (S&OP) cycle to match capacity with customer demand.
Requirements
- Proven leadership background in supply chain within the automotive manufacturing sector.
- 10+ years of increasingly senior experience in supply chain and operations management.
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related discipline.
- Direct working familiarity with IATF automotive quality standards.
- Strong proficiency with ERP/MRP systems.
- Exceptional vendor negotiation, risk management, and analytical skills.
- Ability to travel approximately 10% to 15%.
