About the role
Responsibilities
- Lead and develop a global team of quality engineers and professionals responsible for quality assurance across a global network of suppliers and sub-tier suppliers.
- Collaborate with product engineering, management, operations, and procurement to assess new suppliers and drive continuous improvement.
- Ensure NPI launch readiness by managing supplier milestones, including DFMEA, PFMEA, control plans, and PPAP approval.
- Develop and implement a global supplier quality strategy and roadmap to drive product and process improvements.
- Monitor supplier performance using data-driven metrics such as Warranty and PPM to drive improvements.
- Drive issue resolution regarding manufacturing and field quality, including root cause analysis and corrective actions.
- Lead a high-performing team of Lean and Six Sigma professionals to deliver improvements across Supply Chain and Digital organizations.
- Develop and deploy a Lean Six Sigma operating system to reduce waste and improve productivity.
- Champion LSS training programs, managing curriculum, standards, and certification processes.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline (Engineering) or equivalent experience.
- 15+ years of experience in supply chain manufacturing and supplier quality.
- Mastery of Six Sigma concepts and tools (Value Stream Mapping, Kaizen, Root Cause Analysis, DMAIC, etc.).
- Significant background in Supply Chain and Operations, specifically in supplier manufacturing and process quality.
- Lean Six Sigma Black Belt certification (Master Black Belt preferred).
- Proven experience in transformational program management and change management.
- Strong statistical analysis skills and proficiency with analytical software (PowerBI, Tableau, Minitab, etc.).
- Experience with Original Design Manufacturers (ODMs) is preferred.
