Director - Supplier Quality & Operational Excellence

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop a global team of quality engineers and professionals responsible for quality assurance across a global network of suppliers and sub-tier suppliers.
• Collaborate with product engineering, management, operations, and procurement to assess new suppliers and drive continuous improvement.
• Ensure NPI launch readiness by managing supplier milestones, including DFMEA, PFMEA, control plans, and PPAP approval.
• Develop and implement a global supplier quality strategy and roadmap to drive product and process improvements.
• Monitor supplier performance using data-driven metrics such as Warranty and PPM to drive improvements.
• Drive issue resolution regarding manufacturing and field quality, including root cause analysis and corrective actions.
• Lead a high-performing team of Lean and Six Sigma professionals to deliver improvements across Supply Chain and Digital organizations.
• Develop and deploy a Lean Six Sigma operating system to reduce waste and improve productivity.
• Champion LSS training programs, managing curriculum, standards, and certification processes.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline (Engineering) or equivalent experience.
• 15+ years of experience in supply chain manufacturing and supplier quality.
• Mastery of Six Sigma concepts and tools (Value Stream Mapping, Kaizen, Root Cause Analysis, DMAIC, etc.).
• Significant background in Supply Chain and Operations, specifically in supplier manufacturing and process quality.
• Lean Six Sigma Black Belt certification (Master Black Belt preferred).
• Proven experience in transformational program management and change management.
• Strong statistical analysis skills and proficiency with analytical software (PowerBI, Tableau, Minitab, etc.).
• Experience with Original Design Manufacturers (ODMs) is preferred.
