Director, Student Success

Responsibilities

• Oversee pharmacy student affairs, including admissions, student services, advising, and professional development from enrollment through graduation.
• Collaborate with centralized admissions and student services offices to assist in pharmacy student recruitment and support student needs.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for pharmacy students, providing early identification of struggling students and addressing professionalism concerns.
• Act as a student advocate in academic and student conduct proceedings and guide students through absence policies.
• Oversee career advising, including the residency, fellowship, and workplace application processes.
• Manage the budget and budget request process for the Office of Student Success.
• Ensure the College meets all Accreditation Council for Pharmacy Education (ACPE) standards related to student services and admissions.
• Create programming that supports student success, wellness, and leadership.

Requirements

• Master’s degree in education, counseling, or a related field.
• Experience in student services or student affairs within a higher education setting.

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior experience working in a pharmacy school or college.
• Experience in predoctoral pharmacy student affairs or student services.
• Knowledge of and experience with ACPE accreditation for pharmacy education programs.
