Director - Strategic Sourcing, Packaging, North America

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop a team of Strategy Managers across core packaging categories including Corrugated, Liners, Media, Ice, and RTE packaging
• Drive the integration of CA and US packaging sourcing teams to align processes and tools
• Develop and execute the North American packaging sourcing roadmap to support business growth
• Oversee OKRs related to cost, supply chain resilience, innovation, and supplier performance
• Lead multi-million dollar contract negotiations and RFP processes using a total cost of ownership lens
• Partner with Product, Operations, Finance, and Engineering to align sourcing strategies with business needs
• Manage supply chain risk through dual-sourcing and proactive contingency planning

Requirements

• 12+ years of progressive experience in procurement or strategic sourcing
• Significant experience in packaging category management
• Proven track record of building and leading high-performing sourcing teams
• Hands-on experience with RFPs, contract negotiations, and category strategy
• Strong financial acumen including TCO modeling and budget management
• Experience navigating organizational change or integration
• Ability to travel up to 25%
• Proficiency in Google Suite and data tools

Preferred Qualifications

• Degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field
