About the role
Responsibilities
- Lead applied research and analytic activities related to primary care delivery, population health, and health equity
- Lead evaluation plans, research questions, and performance measures to assess implementation outcomes
- Review, analyze, and interpret quantitative and qualitative data to formulate evidence-informed recommendations
- Lead practice transformation and technical assistance projects with medical practices and community health centers
- Develop and maintain project workplans, timelines, and documentation
- Provide technical guidance and mentoring to facilitators and project staff
- Coordinate contracts and deliverables with external vendors
Requirements
- Master's degree in physical, biological, environmental science, or public health
- Minimum of five years of experience in applied research, evaluation, or quality improvement in healthcare or public health settings
- Experience planning and evaluating projects involving healthcare providers or community-based organizations
- Strong analytic, writing, and presentation skills
- Knowledge of primary care delivery systems and healthcare operations
- Knowledge of Electronic Health Records (EHRs) and health IT platforms
Preferred Qualifications
- Doctorate degree in a relevant field
- Experience in population health management and quality improvement
- Knowledge of Health-Related Social Needs
