Director, Strategic Finance & Investor Relations

Responsibilities

• Own the end-to-end quarterly earnings process, including press releases, scripts, investor decks, and Q&A preparation.
• Partner with the CFO and senior leadership to develop company guidance and frame financial narratives.
• Serve as a primary point of contact for sell-side analysts and institutional investors to build long-term relationships.
• Plan and execute investor engagement events, including sell-side conferences, one-on-ones, and the annual Investor Day.
• Lead strategic finance projects such as peer benchmarking, long-range financial modeling, and competitive analyses.
• Drive the IR function's use of AI-native tooling and automation to increase productivity and insight.
• Monitor and synthesize market dynamics, investor sentiment, and industry trends to provide actionable insights to the Board and executive team.

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience in investor relations, equity research, investment banking, FP&A, or corporate finance.
• Deep technical fluency in public-company reporting, financial statements, and SaaS/consumption-based revenue models.
• Advanced financial modeling skills, including building and stress-testing operating models and guidance sensitivity analyses.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with the ability to draft in the voice of senior executives.
• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, Business, or a related field.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working in-house at a high-growth public technology company.
• Sector background in cybersecurity, cloud infrastructure, developer platforms, or AI.
• Existing relationships with top-tier infrastructure/software sell-side analysts and institutional investors.
• MBA, CFA, or CPA designation.
