Director Strategic Development EMEA

Responsibilities

• Assess new opportunities for strategic fit, financial viability, and operational feasibility
• Develop and refine deal structures including franchise, management, hybrid, and membership models
• Lead negotiations with owners, investors, and partners to structure commercial and contractual terms
• Work closely with Legal, Finance, and Operations to ensure smooth deal execution through to closure
• Align interests across brands, operators, and ownership groups as a key liaison
• Coordinate the end-to-end development process, including site inspections, feasibility studies, and due diligence

Requirements

• 7–15+ years of experience in hospitality (Hotel development, Asset management, or Operations)
• Proven experience negotiating franchise or hotel management agreements
• Strong commercial judgement and ability to break down complex deals into decision frameworks
• Excellent negotiation, influencing, and project management skills
• Fluency in English (additional European languages are a plus)
• Ability to engage senior stakeholders effectively
