About the role
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute effective internal and external communications strategies for the FreeWheel business
- Drive messaging and narratives by writing press releases, blogs, thought leadership pieces, and employee communications
- Translate complex advertising technology products and concepts into simple, engaging content for industry reporters and employees
- Collaborate with Marketing, Sales, Product Marketing, and Leadership to ensure consistent messaging across the organization
- Develop public relations initiatives aligned with business goals
- Manage interview and speaker talking points to project and protect the company's image
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree (or equivalent combination of coursework and experience)
- 10+ years of relevant professional experience
- Deep understanding of Advertising Technology and the Media Industry
- Strong strategic thinking and ability to manage high-level narratives
- Exceptional writing skills with the ability to handle both big-picture strategy and detailed execution
- Ability to exercise independent judgment and discretion in matters of significance
