Director, Strategic Communications

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute effective internal and external communications strategies for the FreeWheel business
• Drive messaging and narratives by writing press releases, blogs, thought leadership pieces, and employee communications
• Translate complex advertising technology products and concepts into simple, engaging content for industry reporters and employees
• Collaborate with Marketing, Sales, Product Marketing, and Leadership to ensure consistent messaging across the organization
• Develop public relations initiatives aligned with business goals
• Manage interview and speaker talking points to project and protect the company's image

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree (or equivalent combination of coursework and experience)
• 10+ years of relevant professional experience
• Deep understanding of Advertising Technology and the Media Industry
• Strong strategic thinking and ability to manage high-level narratives
• Exceptional writing skills with the ability to handle both big-picture strategy and detailed execution
• Ability to exercise independent judgment and discretion in matters of significance
