Director Strategic Business Development

Responsibilities

• Analyze corporate hunting zones to develop growth plans and identify $100mil opportunities
• Execute growth strategies including near-term potentials and long-term venture programs
• Run proof of concept (PoC) programs to validate growth hypotheses and gain customer traction
• Build strategic partnerships with senior-level customers, key accounts, and startups
• Secure NREs and JDAs to transition high-risk ideas into product line roadmaps
• Coordinate with internal R&D and business lines to ensure successful adoption of new initiatives

Requirements

• Engineering or Physics degree
• Deep understanding of semiconductor devices (sensors, power devices, microcontrollers, etc.)
• Proven experience in business development, deal-making, or strategic sales
• Strong marketing ability to explore topics, build business plans, and define PoCs
• Demonstrated program management skills to lead projects from concept to adoption
• Ability to communicate technical capabilities and business value to senior stakeholders

Preferred Qualifications

• Broad professional experience across multiple functional roles such as FAE, Sales, or Strategy
• An innovative venture spirit with the ability to brainstorm and scale new opportunities
• Experience working within a Silicon Valley innovation ecosystem
