About the role

Responsibilities

  • Own the annual Southeast Sports Marketing business plan, defining priorities, investments, and growth opportunities.
  • Translate national strategy into regionally relevant programs that drive brand affinity and consumption.
  • Identify and develop a balanced portfolio of athlete and team partnerships to meet regional and national goals.
  • Lead the creation and execution of innovative regional sports marketing events and live experiences.
  • Oversee the regional gaming strategy to engage new and younger audiences through players and content.
  • Manage and develop a high-performance team of Senior Sports Marketing Managers and specialists.
  • Partner with Field Marketing, Sales, and Media teams to ensure integrated planning and maximized ROI.

Requirements

  • Minimum 6 years of experience in marketing and management with a focus on sports, athletes, and consumer marketing.
  • Proven leadership experience managing and developing professional teams.
  • Demonstrated ability to execute large-scale marketing initiatives and complex events.
  • Experience in identifying, signing, and managing regional and national level athlete and team partnerships.
  • Experience with Collegiate Sports and NIL (Name, Image, and Likeness) regulations.
  • Proven track record of managing significant budgets and delivering measurable ROI.
  • Ability to travel 50-60% as required by the role.
