Director, Software Engineering

Responsibilities

• Lead solution architecture efforts for complex client engagements across cloud, data, AI, and software engineering domains
• Define and design scalable, secure, and AI-enabled architectures that meet business and technical requirements
• Act as a trusted advisor to executive stakeholders, translating business goals into architectural vision and delivery plans
• Guide clients through strategic technology decisions, including AI integration and cloud modernization
• Mentor architects across the organization and help shape the evolution of the Solution Architecture practice
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including engineers, designers, and consultants to deliver high-impact solutions
• Support business development through pre-sales solutioning, proposal development, and client presentations

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience in technology consulting, solution architecture, and software development
• Strong background in architecting modern cloud solutions across Azure, AWS, or GCP
• Professional IT consulting services experience is required
• Proficiency in modern programming languages such as Java, C#, Python, or JavaScript
• Extensive experience with microservices architecture, software design patterns, and cloud-native applications
• Strong understanding of DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and containerization (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes)
• Demonstrated experience integrating AI/ML solutions, including LLMs and AI-enhanced platforms into enterprise architectures
• Bachelor's degree required

Preferred Qualifications

• Advanced degree or professional certifications (e.g., TOGAF, Azure Architect Expert, AWS Solutions Architect)
