Director, Software Engineer

Responsibilities

• Lead, manage, and grow multiple teams of product-focused software engineers
• Mentor and guide the professional and technical development of engineers
• Partner with product managers to define application capabilities and testing scenarios
• Drive engineering excellence by improving software practices and team velocity
• Oversee the design, development, and implementation of scalable microservices and cloud-based solutions
• Lead efforts to deploy and manage applications within AWS environments
• Promote a culture of innovation, inclusion, and continuous learning of emerging technologies

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree
• At least 7 years of experience in software development
• At least 5 years of experience in people management

Preferred Qualifications

• Master’s Degree in Computer Science or Software Engineering
• 10+ years of experience in software development
• 5+ years of experience in Agile practices
• Experience leveraging interactive AI tooling to accelerate productivity
